As wedding season begins to ramp up I was honored to be asked to film Jasmin and James’s wedding in beautiful Montreat, about 20 minutes outside of Downtown Asheville. It was a gorgeous March Saturday. The ceremony was held in the Upper Anderson area of the Montreat’s stunning conference center.

Wedding videos are one of the best ways to remember the most important day in your life. It can seem like your wedding day flies by in an instant and to have the most memorable moments of your ceremony caught on video will let those moments be replayable for years to come. You may think giving a family member the task of recording these moments with their not-so-new iPhone might do the trick but let’s remember that very few of us have Spielberg in our family. So what does it cost to have a professional video cameraman or crew come out to film your wedding? More importantly, why is it so expensive?

Since wedding videos are one of the primary services Wynn Media offers to customers I really depend on functional and quality gear to help my jobs go as smooth as possible. Today I will break down some of the gear I have and why and when I use it.
